Nomadas del Artes 2010

The Nόmadas del Arte Paint Out and Show  
It is the goal of Nόmadas del Arte to bring together two hundred of the best nomad artists working en plein air today to exhibit in one show. Each participating artist will submit two plein air landscape paintings.  The paintings may be completed in six southwestern states: Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas or Utah. The artists may paint in any of these states at any time throughout the calendar year of 2008. Approximately four hundred paintings created for Nόmadas del Arte will be exhibited for sale at the Southwest Gallery of Dallas during the month of April & May, 2010.

Judging
Kristen Bucher, Editor In Chief of Southwest Art, Allen Duerr, Co Publisher of Art of the West and Joshua Rose Editor of American Art Collector will be judging the submitted artworks.

"A Year at Milfiori"
Location: Milfiori in Douglas Flat, CA

Five artists, including Kathleen Dunphy, Shona Macomber & Janette Jones, have painted "en plein air" in the gardens and on the grounds of Milfiori near Murphys, Ca.  These paintings and more will be exhibited on Oct 8th & 9th as a Benefit Fundraiser for the Douglas Flat Historic Schoolhouse (adj to Milfiori).  High Tea in the Garden and tours of the 150 year old farmhouse will also be offered.  More details to come....
